Survey Management
WildOcean is accomplished in managing teams of surveyors on multiple vessels for the purposes of baselines surveys or monitoring. Incorporated in this is the management of sourcing surveyors, ensuring adherence to a standard data collection protocol, ensuring data is gathered and quality checked at the end of each survey and ensuring survey specific reports are generated where required. We have experience of managing single platform line transect surveys, double platform line transect surveys and multidisciplinary surveys. We also have experience of generating final project reports and conducting end of project data mapping and analysis. WildOcean is also accomplished in managing terrestrial mammal surveys and wildlife tagging/tracking projects.
Project Management
WildOcean has sucessfully managed projects for a number of clients. This includes project logistics, equipment specification and purchase/rental, equipment deployment and recovery, liasing and collaborating with national and international partners, personnel management, project troubleshooting and project reporting.
MMO & PAM Team Leadership
WildOcean is experienced in leading teams of Marine Mammal Observers and PAM Operators during seismic surveys. This includes scheduling watches, ensuring high standards of data collection and mitigation implementation, and generating daily, weekly, monthly and final reports.
